The first Vogue cover, Countess Divonne by Harry McVickar, 1893.
You can come over now, I’ve just been catching up on my fashion mags!
Well, seeing how great we did on our house project I can only assume if we put our two pretty heads together, we’ll make absolute magic with your art project. Count me in!
Every mark stands for a time I’ve wanted to drink. When I’m upset. Mark. When I’m lonely. Mark. When I’m in a bad mood, when I have a project due next period that I forgot about, when I think about my best friend miles away at Yale. Mark. Mark. Mark. Every line stands for a time I almost relapsed…almost, but didn’t. I carry this piece of paper with me everywhere, as a reminder. A reminder that every time I want to drink, I know I can get past it, because the proof is right in front of me. Some might see this as a weakness, all the times I’ve almost given in to the temptation of just one little sip of champagne, but I like to see this as my prevailing. Again, and again, and again.
Ignore the lipstick. I was trying out shades at Sephora.
